with plenty of woodland walks to do whilst there- looking very autumnal during out stay :) We stayed for two nights and were extremely sad to leave on our last morning- a truly special getaway! It feels really tucked away and nestled in the rolling hills of Monmouthshire and it's so peaceful.
You're just surrounded by countryside and all you can hear are the birds in the day and the owls at night.
It had a little electric oven and hob for cooking and a camp fire space if you fancy outdoor cooking.
The guy itself felt just fine in near zero weather.
The local pubs, Tintern village and the Parva vineyard are all worth a visit too, the wine at Parva is especially nice and we came away with a few bottles! The treehouse was warm, stylish and had everything we needed.
Before arriving we were worried about being cold (Dec) but the place was very well insulated and the wood burning stove kept us very cosy for the full time. Definitely worth getting there in daylight, otherwise it can be tricky to get to.At the bottom of the orchard is the Way Valley Walk, 7 miles straight to the Michelin starred Whitebrook pub. We had a wonderful time at Mistletoe Treehouse for our honeymoon. It’s such a special place with a really homely feel.Speaking of counting sheep, the king-size bed is one of the cosiest we’ve tried…The bathroom with hot shower and flushing loo is conveniently ensuite.Take in the beauty of the valley from the balcony, use the binoculars to spot wildlife, build a fire, and stargaze.
Mistletoe Treehouse was wonderful and exceeded our (pretty high) expectations.
