Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Julie Barjenbruch; a son, Rob Barjenbruch and wife Lorena of Port Lavaca; a daughter, Erica Mitchell of San Antonio; his mother, Beth Sherrod of Wellington; a brother, Larry Adams of Wellington; his step father, Sam Adams of Wellington; and four grandchildren, Michael and John Barjenbruch and Sunny and Penelope Mitchell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment followed at the Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis. Long was born in Hollis January 5, 1931 to William O. Attending Arnett School, Tillie graduated as valedictorian of her class in 1949. Bettye was born January 21, 1926 in Wellington to Jesse Grover and Willie Preston White Hunt. Dan was born October 18, 1928 near Wellington to John B. He grew up on the family farm in the Rolla community outside of Wellington before graduating from high school in 1946.

On February 26, 1950 she married the love of her life, Odis Neal Long and they spent the next 51 years together before his death October 14, 2001. Franks; and a special caregiver, Juanita Hinojosa of Wellington. She married David Conant on December 28, 1959 in Amarillo. He earned BS and MS degrees in Education from West Texas State University and was a public schools principal from 1952-1968 in the Hereford, Borger, and Canyon ISDs.
She shared a single bed in that house with four of her sisters sleeping three at the head and two at the foot.
Emma met her husband, George Estes, shortly after she graduated from Wellington High School in 1929, and ran away after a brief courtship to marry him on September 10, 1929 just weeks before the fall of the stock market and the start of the Great Depression.
Billy Joe Patterson Billy Joe Patterson, age 78 of Wellington, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Wellington. May 30 at the First United Methodist Church with Mr. Billy Joe was born June 16, 1935 in the Buckcreek Community of Collingsworth County to G. C., Top, George, Leon, Kenneth and John Patterson; and by three sisters Lillian Williams, Hazel Guill and Ruby Brown. Mike was born to Robert and Anna Beth Dodson Barjenbruch in Wellington where he was raised and began his farming career with family. He married Julie Ann Allman August 16, 1975 while they were in college. He returned to college and graduated with an additional degree in industrial technology and engineering from the University of Houston in 1996. Mary Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred White; and a sister, Lona Barton.
Burial was in North Fairview Cemetery with arrangements by Adams Funeral Home. He married Mary Nell Birchfield on August 27, 1954 in Clovis, N. He worked for the Texas Animal Health Commission from 1971 until he retired in 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, A. Mary Nell White Mary Nell White, age 85 of Claude, died Thursday, May 8, 2014. May 12 in Claude Church of Christ with Jim Yates officiating. She married William Alfred White on November 23, 1947 in Wellington. She was a homemaker and was very involved with her husbands ministry.

After establishing their first home in Hollis, Tillie was a homemaker for many years until she began working as a teachers aide for Hollis Schools. Travis later married Janece Jesse in 1975 in Wellington. Wilbur and husband Chuck of Wellington; two step children, Sonya Bouldin of Euless and Billy Bouldin of Dallas; a grandson, Kye L. Pallbearers were Brandon Porter, Tim Paschal, Jared Patterson, John Patterson, Mickey Anglin and Joe Patterson. After receiving an MS in Computer Sciences he joined Amarillo College as a professor in 1968 where he remained until his retirement as an educator in 1983.
She later began working as the assistant county treasurer for Harmon County and was later elected treasurer for Harmon County, retiring in 1997. With this union came two step children, Sonya and Billy whom he cared for deeply. OHair of Amarillo; four great grandchildren, Zachery T. Honorary Pallbearers included Raymond Fike, Dick Pendleton, Willie Gragson, Robert Powell, Maxie Baker, Kenny Tunstall, Robert Coffee, Jack Barnett, Jimmy Black and Jimmy Patterson. She was a retired custodian for Amarillo Independent School District. During subsequent years Dan was a real estate investor, home builder and land broker in Amarillo.
Survivors include a son, Dan Thompson Trew and wife Jeanne; twin daughters, Tammy Rehkemper and husband Michael and Terry Fuller and husband Mark; and his grandchildren, Jesse Fuller, Alice Fuller and Travis Rehkemper.
The family requests memorials be made to the Moslah Temple Shrine, 1100 Henderson, Fort Worth, TX 76102-4583. Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home of Childress. Statham was born June 9, 1932, in Childress to Pierce Ben and Roxie Faye Heckathorne Snider.
